Hi Guys,

This invovles an incident against my wife, She had her teeth knocked
out by a local girl while on the doorstep of our property.

If you search the forum I have posted up 2 or 3 times about this ,
Question is now I am in receipt of paper work, which clearly states
that the officer dealing has had a disciplinary taken against him for
not acting with due diligence and propriety (words of the
superintendent).

Also others words stated was the officer stated that the complainant
and witnesses were uncooperative and hostile. This appears to be
untrue ( again all word from the inspector In writing)

Also on a number of issues over the investigation of the case it
appeared that the officer may have lied ( again all these word were
from the inspector in writing)

The girl appeared in the Mags at first then on to Crown, were there
was a Plea and case file, pre trial review, then we have the letter
for trial date warn list, so we give them all our dates that are
available, only to be told a 3 weeks later that the case was dropped
and the girl was given a bound over to keep the peace.

This case oringinally started in may 2005, I get it to court by
November 2006 to Crown by Feb 2007
with the final letter coming from CPS in March 2007, I have made
complaints to CPS, and it was this memo they said the police send them
in 2005 that is why it stopped. about my wife been uncooperative.

I have now got them memo's and the other paperwork which clearly shows
they failed in thier duty and care to protect my wife and assist her
in the court process, no-one has ever from police or Cps spoke to my
wife except from the oringinal statement she made.

They admit he Lied and Made errors and has been disciplined, but how
far does that go to tell my wife who lost 4 front teeth in this
violent act and several stone in weight through stress and worry, Let
alone have any confidence in the police and herself, and now very
seldom goes out since the attack. even getting me to put cctv on our
house


Surely they must be a way to claim some damages from the police or the
cps.

And I do know about the . this would not even cover the dental
work
