Because of the other child, you reallly would be well advised to see a
solicitor. A straightforward will shouldn't cost more than about £200, which
isn't a lot when you consider what could be at stake. The solicitor can also
advise you about the possibility of the other child's representatives suing
the estate - and that would cost real money if it happened.
